As per the plan, We Department of Computer Engineering arranged one-day Industrial Visit to Barclays on 2nd July 2019 for TE Students to attend Barclays Rubicon’s “Connect with Work “Program.
Through this visit student got idea about which factors are to be taken into consideration when choosing to get into entrepreneurship, how to conduct a thorough market research in your preferred field and how to cover all the important areas as to set out to start and grow your own business.
In this course, they have provided tips or guidelines about which skills and tools you need to help you in your job search, tips on how to carry yourself during an interview, and the appropriate business meeting etiquette.
Through this course or visit , students learned how to work well with others, communicate effectively with your colleagues and clients, and most importantly, they have learned the right emotional intelligence skills to help them handle different situations at work effectively.
After Completing Visit at Barclays, we started our return journey at 3.30pm and returned back to college campus at 4.15 pm.
As per the plan, We Department of Computer Engineering attended the TechFest 2019-20 at IIT Bombay on 3rd Jan 2020. Entering the place on the day felt like a new atmosphere filled with various technologies. Student visited the to connect exhibition, and over there we observed the new trends in AI, ML and IoT projects were at an all-time high followed by the emphasis on border security.
Student attended an interactive session with the speaker on “Changing Role of Women in Cinema”. Students got the project ideas from various project exhibitions in R&D departments of IIT Bombay. Through new technological projects student got an idea about the current market trends in industries.
After getting fascinated by the projects, students went to hear the talk from the Former prime minister of Bhutan on the topic of climate change. Students went for the international exhibition right as they stepped into the campus and their mind was blown by seeing the Innovation happening there in AR and Cloud Computing and interacted with a lot of foreigners and talked about their projects.
Through this visit, students got an idea about which factors are to be taken into consideration when choosing to get into entrepreneurship, how to conduct the market research in your preferred fields.
This modern technological festival enough to ignite students mind and inspiring lecture make students think in different ways.
After completing visit at IIT Bombay, we started our return journey at 3.15pm and returned back to college campus at 7.00 pm.
The Department of Computer Engineering of PCCOER had arranged one-day Industrial Visit to “Center for Police Research (CPR)”, Pashan on ¬¬¬¬25th Feb 2020, for SE Students.
After the successful visit, all the students were able to get an insight about the how center provided training to Maharashtra Police.
The center reached excellence through the medium of research and training, with that they helped people and solved their problems.
CPR had given the information about their center, CPR hadconducted workshops/ seminars and training for Police officers of Maharashtra on various subjects of interest such as: Organized Crime, Tackling Naxalism, and Use of Modern Technology in Investigation of Crime, Cyber-Crime, Cyber Laws, Motor Vehicle Tracking System, Stress Management, and Crime against Women etc. Close to 300 Training Workshop have been so far conducted in CPR, in which over 6000 participants were involved and benefitted.
After that they allowed us to visit their wireless communication center, and where they have showed the migration in communication technologies like from Walky-talky to Wireless connection.
They have also told us about future opportunities of software engineers in Police research center and offer project internship for students.
After Completing Visit at Center, we started our return journey at 4.00 pm and returned back to college campus at 4.45 pm.
